D12 is an American hip hop group from Detroit, Michigan, who have had chart-topping albums in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. The group formed in 1996, and achieved mainstream success after Eminem rose to international fame.
They have released two studio albums and eight singles and has sold over four million albums in the United States; and has earned three platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. They have released numerous hits such as "Fight Music", "Purple Hills", "My Band", "How Come" and "Shit on You" throughout that period.
Since 2006, Eminem's hiatus and the death of the member Proof, the group has been less active in subsequent years.
