Get Right features Lopez playing different characters at a nightclub: a DJ, a Go-Go dancer dancing upon the bar, a bartender, a nerdy, shy girl, a superstar, and other personalities attending the club, as they go about their ways. The characters are somewhat established at the beginning of the video. One of Lopez's personalities also dresses in drag, and has a slight shuffle with a male entertainer at the club. Interspersed are clips on the screens of the club of Lopez and several other people dancing in front of gray background. The video features Marc Anthony's daughter, Ariana, as the little sister to the DJ character. It received four nominations at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards: Best Dance Video, Best Direction, Best Choreography, and Best Editing. The remix version features rapper Fabolous and it takes segments from the main video and extending them against a gray background. The dancing mainly consists of Lopez dancing with a cane in an old Hollywood sideshow-style dance routine. |
