Michael Jackson - Ghosts (Official Video - Shortened Version)
|
Ghosts depicts Michael Jackson as a supernatural Maestro living in a mansion in Someplace Else. The mayor of Normal Valley and a small mob of people confront the Maestro after reports of him scaring the children (although the children insist it was only in fun) and try to evict him from his home. Michael then insist that he and the mayor play a game in which whoever gets scared first must leave. After a few silly faces the Maestro becomes more sinister with his antics even to the point of removing his face. Terrifying the mob and frightening the mayor in the process, the Maestro then summons ghosts to dance routines set to three Michael Jackson songs: "2 Bad," "Is it Scary," and "Ghosts." Finally after the routines, the Mayor, after a few more jump scares, flees the scene and the Maestro is allowed to stay whilst talking to the mob, who have changed their minds about him. The film ends with one of the children quoting one of Michael's songs and proceeding to stretch his mouth (presumably how Michael did before hand whilst the townspeople and the Maestro scream. At 37 minutes, Ghosts is set in the Guinness World Record Book for the longest music video. |
