LBSOUNTRACK-AD
Larry-Boy (commonly known as Larry-Boy Theme Song) is a VeggieTales song about everyone's favorite plunger-headed hero. This song appeared at the end of Larry-Boy! And the Fib from Outer Space!

Music Video[]

The music video starts with a scene from the episode where Larry decides to consider their game of Candy Land, postponed! Then we cut to a shot of three Asparagus singers dancing around the city of Bumblyburg. And then we cut to Larry-Boy passing by dancing, and we cut to a montage of clips from the show as the Nicole C. Mullen and Asparagus Singers sing the song. This goes on throughout the music video, jumping from place to place, from a clip to the singers and back again, as well as a shot of Larry-Boy on the top of the movie theater sign saying "I AM THAT HERO!". The final shot has Larry dressed up as J.J. Walker and saying "Dynomite!" and winks at the camera.

  • The short version appears on Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed

Trivia[]

  • Larry-Boy! And the Fib from Outer Space! features this instead of a Silly Song segment.
    • In the classroom edition of the episode, the Larry-Boy Theme Song was bizarrely listed in the credits, even though it doesn't appear in the video. The Silly Song Love My Lips was featured as a substitute for it.
  • Vegemite is a dark brown food paste made from leftover yeast exacts with vegetables and spices that is popular in Australia.
  • Larry's costume at the end is a reference towards James "J.J"  Evans, a character from "Good Times", an American sitcom that lasted from 1974 to 1979.
  • This song was included in the show-tape that ran in Chuck E. Cheese's locations from September to November of 2000. Though rather than the full song, it was the condensed version from Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed.
  • The song was also sung at the Rumor Weed premiere in Orlando, Florida, where Nicole C. Mullen sang the song live at Rock Hard Cafe.
