Lover Don't Go was a standalone single released in 1989 by British R&B artist Princess. It would've been the lead single to an album by the singer; however it was scrapped due to budgeting reasons. The music video was entirely self-funded and featured choreography aswell as japanese influences. Its' days on the charts were numbered, however, as due to a barcode error, the sales of the single were given to another song and it failed to chart, making Princess and her brother go bankrupt. It was Princess' last music video for 14 years.
