On & On features Badu as a maid in an African-American household and shows her doing her chores. Interspersed are scenes of her chasing a dog that bit, tying a little girl's hair into a ponytail and falling into mud. The video ends with Badu in a green outfit with several people in a barn, singing and dancing. The video is loosely based on The Color Purple. |
