Close-up shots of the animals, and the drumsticks on a hay are used. It is from the TV show "TOPPOP" in 1979. Cledus T. Judd parodied the song as Cledus Went Down to Florida. A new version of the song was released in 1999, and it shows clips of Charlie Daniels and his band. In 2003, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" was ranked #69 on CMT's 100 Greatest Songs of Country Music, and #5 on CMT's 20 Greatest Southern Rock Songs in 2006. |
