The Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree is a Sesame Street song sung by Ernie. In a country setting, Ernie invites the viewer to join in on their musical hoedown, punctuated by the sounds of his Rubber Duckie, some Honkers (including Mr. Honker), and a Dinger. It was written by Christopher Cerf and Norman Stiles. Variants In 2004, for a Play with Me Sesame segment, Grover played along to a showing of the clip. The clip was edited to be longer so Grover can show off the dancing techniques. Trivia The performers include Jim Henson (assisted by Ed Christie) as Ernie, Martin P. Robinson as Dinger, Kathryn Mullen as the Green Honker, Cheryl Blaylock as the Sky Blue Honker, and Brian Muehl as the Purple Honker. The song was taped on January 14, 1983.
